My name is Logan Elkins

Since I was old enough to sneak into my sister's room to play Space Cadet Pinball, I've been interested in computers. Through the twists and turns of life, I didn't initially pursue that interest. Instead, I worked as a tradesman and eventually became a dog trainer. Though I enjoyed both of these careers and learned valuable skills such as problem-solving, patience, and the ability to work with others to achieve any goal, I never felt truly satisfied. So, I decided to make a change.

In 2022, I was given the opportunity to move into the field of IT as a Support Specialist. Transitioning into this role was a huge learning experience for me and allowed me to delve into something I had been passionate about for so long. As I learned more and began applying this knowledge in the field, I found myself increasingly fascinated by information security. This fascination led me to spearhead the security initiatives for the small business I was working for, setting me on the path I am on now as I look to transition into Information Security.

Now, I am passionate about malware analysis and development, as well as Windows endpoint digital forensics. I am actively pursuing knowledge in these areas whenever I can through courses and getting as hands on as my growing skillset allows.
